ABOUT:
My goal is to create looks that feel elevated, intentional, and unapologetically you.
I specialize in creative color, dimensional blondes, grey blending, shag haircuts, bobs and curls. It is important to me to always start with a thorough consultation with a focus on customization to your features, texture and lifestyle. I work exclusively with high-quality, performance-driven vegan & eco-conscious color because I believe that beauty should not compromise our health or environmental integrity.
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was always an artsy kid obsessed with music and fashion. At age 14 I fell in love with rock n roll and punk rock and started sewing my own upcycled clothing and cut & coloring my own hair.
That love of creative freedom led me to build a DIY salon in my parent’s garage at age 16 while finishing up my senior year in high school and attending beauty school. After obtaining my cosmetologist license I went through an extensive training program at Peter Thomas Hair Design in Berkeley, California before becoming a full time hairstylist and later - an educator for Kevin Murphy.
In 2011 I relocated to Portland, where I continued working behind the chair and advancing my career specializing in hair cutting and color services.
Fast forward to now—20+ years later! I feel so lucky to have found a career at such a young age that I am still incredibly passionate about. Over the years I have attended numerous advanced trainings and am always excited to continue learning new skills and techniques.
Outside of the salon you can find me working on DIY home projects with my husband, dancing, traveling, making costumes, attending concerts, biking, doing lots of hot yoga and spending time with friends and family.
